Alpha

Alpha is an opportunity to explore life and the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. The Alpha Course is run all over the world, and people attend from all backgrounds, traditions, and viewpoints. Some come with questions about the existence of God, the purpose of life, and the claims of Jesus. Others want to get beyond religion and find a relationship with God that is truly life-changing. Some guests may have never attended church, others may have attended church often but still feel they have questions about the Christian faith.

If you are new to Broadway or are simply looking for a place to get connected and go deeper, then Alpha is the place for you!

What is Involved?

The Alpha course consists of a series of talks looking at topics such as “Who is Jesus?” and “Why and how should I read the Bible?”. Meeting online for the first time, it’s relaxed, low key, and fun. There will be plenty of opportunity to get to know other group members while exploring the basics of the Christian faith. You can listen, learn, discuss, and discover. And ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too outrageous. Class will include a virtual Saturday morning retreat. Participants may print out a guide online.
