WHAT IS THE #BEBRAVEBG ABOUT?
BeBraveBG’s mission is to be a source of hope and encouragement for the unseen, unheard and under appreciated in our community. This month’s campaign is to support the volunteers and staff of CASA of South Central KY. These volunteers work to prevent child victims of abuse, neglect and dependency from being abused both in and out of their family of origin.
Volunteers will advocate for these children through the child welfare system, the Family Court and attorneys, that serve Warren, Barren, Hart, and Metcalfe Counties in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. By using trained community volunteers as advocates for these abused and neglected children, CASA can prevent them from being further abused by a system that should be protecting them. We need you to send in cards or coloring sheets sending your message of support and love for these courageous volunteers. We’ve added new coloring sheets to express this message to them.

HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE?
We need cards, notes, and coloring sheets to thank CASA volunteers for what they are doing. They need to know we are praying for them and appreciate all they are doing!! We have coloring sheets at the buttons below. Simply print the sheets and color them or create your own messages of encouragement using purchased or homemade cards.
WHERE DO WE TAKE COMPLETED CARDS & COLORING SHEETS?
You can take your completed cards and sheets to the bins under the awnings at the Greenwood or Melrose campuses on Wednesday, August 19th between 9am and 5pm. The bins help us to maintain social distancing. Our goal is to make this a monthly project, so mark the 19th of each month on your calendar and be watching for more details!
