Join us for Maundy Thursday on Thursday, April 2 at 6:45pm in the Melrose Sanctuary, also called Holy Thursday, as we begin three sacred days remembering the events surrounding Jesus’ crucifixion. The word Maundy comes from the Latin mandatum, meaning “commandment.”
On the night before his arrest, Jesus shared the Last Supper with his disciples, washed their feet, and gave a new commandment—to love one another as he loved them. We remember this night together as we share Holy Communion.
Childcare will be available for children ages 4 and under.
We will also livestream the service at BUMCOnline.org for those unable to attend in person.
