Broadway’s Care Ministries exist to provide support and encouragement to our church family and community. It is our mission to assure each and every person we encounter that they are remembered, prayed for, and loved.

Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.'”

Matthew 22:37-39

Pastoral Care

Hospital and Visitation

If anyone from the Broadway family is hospitalized, we want to encourage them with prayer and visitation during their stay. To ensure the Pastoral Care Team is aware of a hospitalization, please fill out the online form above.

For individuals who are in long-term care or are homebound, we strive to offer ongoing encouragement through regular calls, visitation, prayer, and communion. Members of our Pastoral Staff and/or visitation teams share vital love and compassion with these individuals so they are assured of the care and support of their church family.

Relational Care

Broadway Babies
This team assists in practical ways after the arrival of a new member in the family. This includes both birth of a newborn or the arrival of an adoptive child. Staffed and coordinated by volunteers, Broadway Babies will deliver meals to the family.

Visitation Teams
These teams care for the homebound and those who cannot regularly attend services. They visit homes and long term care facilities to provide worship opportunities, prayer and communion for people who are unable to travel to one of Broadway’s campuses.

Bereavement Team
The purpose of this team is to provide a meal for the family and friends of a Broadway member who has recently died. Often this meal is served following a funeral service or taken to the funeral home during the visitation. This team is staffed with lay members and volunteers who serve grieving families in practical ways. The Bereavement Team also extends after care for the loved ones through notes and continued prayer.
