In the gospel of Matthew, Jesus says that the two greatest commands are to love God and love people. The simplicity of this formulation disguises a more complex reality: we’re not born knowing how to love well. Sometimes our best efforts result in relational brokenness. In this edition of (re)Group, “Relationship Matters,” we’ll learn and practice skills such as listening well, clarifying expectations, and resolving conflict, so that we can learn to know ourselves and to love others well.
Beginning Wednesday, January 25, existing small groups and newly formed small groups will gather for a 4-week experience that will focus on “Relationship Matters.” Groups will meet on Wednesday nights at 6 pm in the MAC and Greenwood Sanctuary. A meal will be served starting at 5:15. Childcare will be available.
