Historically, the Stations Of The Cross have been a way for people to step into the story of Jesus during the last hours of his life. It is believed that after the resurrection Mary, Jesus’ mother, marked his path from the Garden to the tomb of resurrection so that future followers of Jesus could pilgrimage and worship along this path in Jerusalem.
