The Exodus is the defining story of the Old Testament. Among the many things this story reveals, Exodus ultimately reveals God’s character– a God who is not far away but who is willing to step into the story, save, guide, and renew. THIS story is a prelude to the story of Jesus. The Exodus story will guide us through the season of Lent, as we reflect on the ultimate revelation of God’s love on the cross.
