Welcome to Broadway Dinner
Share a special evening with the pastors, staff and others from the Broadway family. Over this meal, hear the history of Broadway as well as how you can live into the mission of the church.
The Rooted course introduces, acclimates, and integrates participants into life together at Broadway UMC. Each session provides an opportunity for connection, followed by a 20-minute video on BUMC’s understanding and practice of its invite, grow, and serve mission, and ending with small group discussion. Ideal for people who are new to Broadway, who come to BUMC via a different denomination, who want a refresher on the basics of the faith, or who want to connect more intentionally.
Growth Groups are the key way to get connected and grow spiritually at Broadway. Four semesters a year, you have the opportunity to participate in a short-term group experience.
Self-Guided Study Resources
Unable to join a growth group but still interested in self-guided spiritual growth? Our spiritual formation team have compiled study guides for several of our book groups.
If you’ve been bruised and wounded by toxic relationships, addiction, loss, chronic pain or abuse, Pathway is for you.
Broadway’s ministry impacts over one thousand people inside the walls of the church each Sunday, and in countless ways in our community and world through strategic partnerships.
During this pandemic, we have been reminded of the power of community for navigating challenging times. It is our hope that through The Story Table, you might feel seen and heard for this journey.
The Story Table is a one-time engagement between your story and the story of others. Each participant answers the same questions with no interruptions, no prescriptions, no debates. The Story Table is a safe, confidential space for you to tell your story. It is an honest opportunity to tell the truth about where we’ve been, where we are, and where we hope to be.
