Greenwood
Broadway’s Greenwood Campus was launched in 2007, when Greenwood United Methodist Church and Broadway United Methodist Church merged to become one in heart and purpose. Led by Pastor Laura Vincent and located in a growing part of our community on the edge of Bowling Green, the Greenwood Campus offers a small-church atmosphere with all the opportunities and resources of a larger congregation.

Frequently Asked Questions
We have a spot reserved just for you!
Our Main Entrance is found at the front of the church. Members of the Welcome Team are excited to meet you and answer any of your questions.
Our services usually last about an hour. We will sing a few songs of worship then have a short time of fellowship followed up by a message relevant to our world today. We typically do communion once a month and everyone is invited to the table. To finish up, we will have a couple more songs and possibly an announcement or two. There will be no pressure to give or introduce yourself publicly. The music is more contemporary and the lyrics will be up on the screen. Feel free to sing along or just soak it in. You can help yourself to a drink and some snacks in the lobby area. We have coffee, tea, and juice boxes for the kids (or adults – we don’t judge!) as well as snacks to nibble on. Feel free to enjoy them during worship.
Please wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We will have people wearing everything from jeans and a t-shirt to business casual.
Students worship with our Student Ministry team in the fellowship house next door during our 10:30am service.
After visiting one of our check-in stations, your child will enjoy a fun-filled environment designed just for them during our 10:30am service.
Meet Our Pastor: Laura Vincent
I have the joy of serving as the Greenwood Campus Pastor. I love running, reading, and eating (pancakes and popcorn in particular). The story of God captured my heart as a little girl, and I have been passionate about sharing that story with others ever since. Nothing brings me greater joy than getting to watch others come fully alive as they discover who they are in Christ and find their place in God’s story. I am a graduate from Kentucky Wesleyan College (B.A. in Secondary Education/Social Studies) and Asbury Theological Seminary (M.A. in Christian Ministries and M.Div). I have been on staff at Broadway in various roles for 14 years, along with my husband Jeremy who serves as the Greenwood Campus Worship Leader. We are the proud parents of two bright, beautiful, and energetic little boys–Lincoln (age 10) and Sam (age 5).
Melrose
In 1908, Broadway United Methodist Church was planted by State Street UMC on the outskirts of Bowling Green (which at that time was the intersection of Broadway and Highway 31). As the city and church continued to grow, Broadway relocated to its present location in 1959.
The church experienced a time of revitalization and rapid growth in the late 1990’s as it began to emphasize ministries to children and families, engaging worship experiences, and serving beyond the walls of the church in the community at large.

Meet Our Pastor: Adam Shourds
I am privileged to serve as Broadway’s lead pastor and have been on staff since 2007. I am an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church and attended Kentucky Wesleyan College (B.A. in Religion/Philosophy and Modern Languages) and have my Master of Divinity from Louisville Seminary. I am married to Jennie and we have three children: Luke, Isaac, and Sarah Grace.
In my spare time, I enjoy fishing, running, and doing pretty much anything outside.
Frequently Asked Questions
At Rhythm every Sunday morning at 9:30am, 6th-12th grade students gather at the Melrose Campus to encounter Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Through worship, teaching, and connection designed for them, students grow in grace and faith. Learn more about our Student Ministry here.
After visiting one of our check-in stations, your child will enjoy a fun-filled environment designed just for them. Learn more about our Kids Zone here.
The main difference between our services is the music and location. All services hear the same sermon message each Sunday which the individual pastor’s flair added to it. The more “traditional” service in the Sanctuary at Melrose will include hymns and a choir at 11am. Our 8:15am service has communion every Sunday. The more “contemporary” service in the MAC features a live band each Sunday.
