Here’s what we know but almost always underestimate. Our words have power. They can build up or they can tear down. They can breathe life into others or they can be used to control, manipulate and abuse them. They can bless or they can curse. Our words set the relational and spiritual climate around us. Imagine God’s love so powerfully at work in you that your words gave life to everyone around you. Imagine if we all together harnessed that power for the challenges of this moment. Isn’t it also true that in those times when it is hardest to speak blessing… in those times when it easiest to tear others down… when we are angry and frustrated and tired and overwhelmed… aren’t those the exact moments when words of life are most needed… the moments when other people need us to build THEM up, to breathe life into THEM… to bless them? Join us as we challenge and encourage one another to harness the power we all have to speak words of life.
