Living With Expectations

Longing for Kingdom…waiting for a King. It’s been said the key to happiness is lowering our expectations.  Is that really true? In many ways, the story of Jesus’ birth is one of unmet expectations. Jesus wasn’t what anyone expected.  His life would shatter all preconceived notions about God’s identity and activity.  His suffering and death didn’t fit anyone’s mold. But that’s just it.  In Jesus God isn’t lowering our expectations.  He is exceeding them.  Join us for Advent, a season of preparation, prayer, and great expectations.
