The prophet Isaiah reminds us that God’s ways are not our ways (Isaiah 55:8). In the life of Jesus, we see just how different God’s ways are. In fact, in the most challenging moments of Jesus’ life, we see how tempting it is to go with our first instinct. Fortunately for us, watching how Jesus lived shows us how to handle our own “clash of kingdoms.”
