God has always called people to join him on a journey. Sometimes it is from one physical place to another. Often it is from one situation to a better one. Always it is from one life to a fuller one.
In between where we are and where God is leading there’s a journey that shapes and forms us—our purpose, our relationships, our identity. We call this journey “spiritual formation.” It is the process of being formed in the image of Christ for the sake of others.
In this series we will see that spirit-shaping journey play out in the stories of Moses, Jonah, Esther, the people of Israel, and the Church. And we will find ourselves in these stories, listening for how God might be calling us to join the journey.
